This report displays the 23 Quality Measures (QMs), which relate to the CMS 5-Star score a building will receive. You can access the report from the search bar by typing "5 Star Report".
Filtering
Once there, start by choosing a facility from the “Filter by Facility” menu at the top of the report. The resulting Quality Measure (QM) data can be refined using the filters to the right of the facility menu.
Patient details
Once the list is populated with data you can press on any QM, and the patients making up the numerator and denominator will appear on the right side of the page.
Exporting metrics to Excel
You can export any of the metrics or metric breakdowns to excel. To do so, hover over the top right-hand corner of the box in which you wish to download the metrics. For example:
Downloading all QMs for a facility
To download the QMs for a selected facility:
- hover your mouse over the top right corner of the QM table.
- Several dots and/or icons will appear. Press on the "3 dots" icon.
- From the menu that appears choose "Export data".
- You will have two choices, one to download exactly as is, with the filters you’ve applied. The second option will be to download all the data without any filters applied. This will download the QMs for the selected facility in their entirety.
- Choose "File Format: Excel"
- Press "Export" to export the data for Excel.
Downloading a single QM for a facility
If you wish to download the numerator and denominator that makes up a metric:
- Select the metric. Numerator and Denominator tables will appear on the right-side of the report.
- Press somewhere in any row of either the numerator or denominator table.
- In the upper-right of the table, several dots and/or icons will appear. Press on the "3 dots" icon.
- In the window that appears, press "Export" to export the data for Excel.
